Responsibilities

  • Partner with sponsors and stakeholders from the digital, marketing, creative and executive teams to elicit and document requirements and with third parties to test and implement corresponding ecommerce solutions.
  • Analyze business problems, document business requirements, create and maintain test scripts, test bug fixes and enhancements, document test results, facilitate UAT and assure software quality.
  • Provide expertise and guidance related to application functionality, design and integration.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, with the goal of streamlining business processes, adding efficiencies, implementing best practices, adding and improving cost controls and maximizing profits.
  • Evaluate applications and reduce complexity in areas such as workflow and integration design to ensure solutions are efficient, meet business requirements and are easily supported.
  • Collaborate with third party providers and implementation partners to minimize application defects and ensure system stability.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of uniform SDLC processes and procedures that minimize the occurrence of application defects and result in the delivery of solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Identify training requirements, develop and update training documentation and provide training and re-training for new and current employees for existing functionality and enhancements.
  • Provide Level 2 support for user application support issues.
  • Support the monitoring and troubleshooting of batch job and integration failures.
  • Contribute to ecommerce strategy, assist in the estimation and prioritization of enhancements and support the management, execution and tracking of new projects.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience as an ecommerce Functional Business Analyst.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Demandware, Websphere and Magento.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting functional requirements, stories, epics, use cases, test cases, system flow charts and training material.
  • Thorough familiarity with SDLC Waterfall and Agile Development methodologies.
  • Self-starter, team player and curious learner with proven track record of establishing close business relationships with key stakeholders and third party providers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Visio, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
